Les quiero invitar a una gran actividad que se va a llevar a cabo aquí en Boriken desde el jueves 17 de septiembre hasta el domingo 20 del 2009. Por primera vez se van a reunir Abuelas y Abuelos de distintas partes del mundo en ceremonia para sanación de la Madre Tierra. Espero contar con la presencia de todos ya que ustedes son mi pueblo y representan el pueblo Taíno. Estos Abuelos y Abuelas Indígenas han viajado hasta Boriken para estar en ceremonia con todos ustedes. Es la primera vez que el Consejo de Abuelos de Boriken también conocido como la tierra de la tortuga y además de otras partes se unen en ceremonia para sanar la Madre Tierra. Habrán varias actividades de las cuales podrán participar, les pido que si no pueden ir a todas traten de ir aunque sea a una no olvides que estas son para unir a nuestro pueblo y la sanación de mi tierra que es la tierra de todos ustedes también. Abuela Shashira te pide que apoyes a los ancianos tantos los de aquí como los que nos visitan para esta actividad. Grandmother Shashira's smoke signal for today, first blessings to all. I want to invite you to an activity to be carried out here in Boriken since Thursday September 17 to Sunday 20, 2009. For the first time grandmothers and grandfathers from around the world will be in ceremony for the healing of Mother Earth. I look forward to the attendance of all who can because you are my people and represent the Taíno people. These Indigenous Grandparents have traveled to Boriken to be in ceremony with you all. It is the first time the Council of Grandparents of Boriken (also known as the land of the turtle) and from other parts will come together in ceremony to heal Mother Earth. There will be various activities for all to participate, if you cannot go to them all try to make to at least one don’t forget that these are to unite our people and the healing of my land which is your land too. Grandmother Shashira asks you to support the elders who are visiting us for this activity.
