Discovering Granadas Taíno Culture

I'd like to begin by thanking Mrs. Ann and Mr.Lennox Griffith for making possible my trip to Grenada and allow me to participate with Doctor Henry Petit Jean Roget and Gerard Richard in blessing the land and asking permission to the Ancestors to begin work at the site where many chards of what seems to be of Amerindian occupation, going back to the origin of the ”saladoide” period, were found.

A very special thanks to Mrs. Ursula Williams for her hospitality and for her efforts, for without her research and dedication to the culture, this work would not have been possible. And, I'd like to extend my gratatude to Ursula's two children Amanda and Gordon who where excellent hosts.

Special thanks to the teachers and students of  Westmorland school for giving me the opportunity to speak to them about the Taíno people of the Caribbean.
Honorable Brenda Hood, Minister of tourism and the other Ministers who received us, and last but not least, to Mr. Cecil Bayne for his attentiveness.
